Sparkly Saturdays!

I'd like to dedicate this Sparkly Saturday to something that's very dear to my heart.
GLITTER!
Most particularly, glittery nails!
Because first of all, a polished nail is the best way to accessorize your hands.
But to have GLITTER nails, well sheesh, might as well be the coolest gal ever.

It is FABULOUS FRIDAY!

I lucked out and had the day off ! :)

So I thought it was time to talk about

WHICH releases this Thursddaaay! Who's going to wait all night?
I'll actually be helping with the set up, I'm reallly pretty exciting about it.

Soooo I've actually seen some of these pieces in real life, and like the photos,

it's reallly snazzy stuff!

It has a really cool eclectic vibe; it's tribal inspired meets the freshness of a freshly tossed salad. 

Like the nice kale salad from True Food, it has a bit of a bitter kick with sweet after taste.

With bitter in the best sense, of course. Just a little kick of POW!

And so far, two things I already knowww I want:

Both of their outfits. Really well styled, and I realllly need that necklace.

And yes! That's a necklace that's sold separately. So awesome.

And he just looks so dapper in this number. Yummy.

I'm also really impressed with the pricing of this collection too, prices ranging from $19.95-150.

Totally accessible for all of you fashionistas on a budget.

THRIFTY THURSDAY! --furniture edition

Helllooooo my lovely ladies and gents!

It is Thrifty Thursday, only weeks after the last post. WHAT THE CRAP RIGHT?
Sorry for the random leave of absence, life just happened you know?

But we're back and with goods!
Today starting with a furniture edition of TNR !! (Thrifty Nifty Regs, comee onn now)

SO I have had some incredible success in the furniture world! And let me just showww you :)

This gorgeous rocker. I was going to resell it but I ended up not being able to ! 

It's too awesome. AND I only paid SEVEN DOLLARS for it.

Now thesee bad boys are my most recent finds.

Ten bucks a piece.

All furniture found at Savers! Where else.

Now this set was actually a gift for my daughter; it's a little iron tea table set!

Bought at a local used furniture store.

Seriously, why buy new furniture, ever? Used stuff is usually always so much cooler.

Wednesday's Wishlist: Valentine Recap!

Wednesday's Wishlist starts with some sweet treats from Valentine's Day  :}

The sweet little cake is from a slightly new bakery at the mall called Caketini
The second is the sweetest valentine card from a dearest bestie o mine.
Cupcake sweets at work! Red velvet I believe, such a treat.
Heart shaped lollipops and ended the day with tullips and chocolate.  :}

And of course I had to dress in appropriate attire:
-oversized satin bow
-tiny pink polka dots
-lace trimmings
-and of courseee, a bit of sparkle

check, check and check.

For good glitter, Victoria's Secret always does me good. From everyday to sexyday.

though I have to admit, I already wish it was another Sleepy Sunday..

These were actually purchased. Little spring in my step in these springy sandals!

FIRST of all, this is a PINK Star Wars tee found at H&M for only 12.95.

And the shorts are poorly translated via photo,

but I'm telling you, they are equally awesome in this tangerine orange.

Perfect for the fruity combo look I'm going for !

(And can you imagine it with those blue mini pumps in the first photo?? Now we're talking!)

Merry Mondays!

Having Mondays off is almost worth working through the weekend! ... almost.

Making the most of this Merry Monday,
After spending a little time at the downtown library,
we grabbed a second breakfast at lux coffebar

Mmmm. It has been WAY too long.

The smell of Lux is so distinct and sooo intoxicating: sweet smells of yummy brioche and fresh berries.

And by the time I remembered to take a picture,

 the delicious rasberry&blueberry tart was already long gone.

 Carrying on with the day...

Saw this couch from the side of the road. It's only $100 !!!

Unreal.

 A sweet three wheeler! In the mood to pick up bicycling.

Pretty idea for all of the bottles and jars I've been collecting.

And now it's nap time!
