THRIFTY THURSDAYS!

It's THRIFTY THURSDAY!

And so far, it's my favvvooorite day of the week.
At least this week it is!

So we'll see how it goes, but I hereby dedicate Thursdays for the ever so glorious thrifting!
And tonight was BEYOND successful.

SAVERS! Seriously the best place to thrift.

And so. On this magical Thrifty Thursday, we found

SEVEN dresses and THREE skirts

Only one of the dresses in singular form, my hands were too busy with excitement to take too many other pictures. BY THE WAY, this little number is one of Sarah Jessica Parker's BITTEN line.

AND the skirts.

Ten items. $45. FORTY FIVE DOLLARS! Come on, you can't beat that!
I want to wear everything immediately. Of course after a good washing.
Well, maybe.
Just kidding! ...kind of.  :)

Hopefully next week, Thrifty Thursdays will come to you via VIDEO!

Shhhhanks for tuning in, folks! :)

Wednesday's Wishlist!

Happy Wednesday!
And I'd like to dedicate Wednesday's Wishlist for wishlists and dreams of beautiful things.
Even if our wallets cannot always obtain what we so desire,
we can still gaze longingly at pretty things.
Torture? Maybe a little.
But it's also a bit of inspiration!

And nothing speaks pretty like Anthropologie.

Sweet little chevron intimate suit. Kinddd of wish it was also a swim suit.
$48 top, $38 bottom.

Gorgeous beaded scarf necklace
A whopping $428
Ohhh, a girl can dream..

Crepe Myrtle Shirtdress $248
I'm on a bit of a spring dress kick, can't seem to get enough!

So, thank you Anthropologie, I think we are all thoroughly depressed now.

Tuesday Shoesday!

First round of Tuesday Shoesday! Probablyyy going to be one of my favorites.

And it just wouldn't be right to start out without the great, Jeffrey Campbell.

If these shoes aren't perfect for spring, then I don't know what.

Rainbow wedges, yesssss please!

Hi, my name is teal&white wedges that are destined for not only spring, but my closet too.

See what I mean? They're pretty rad. She agrees.

Oh, Jeffrey. You grant my feet such happiness.
(PS, all shoes shown are now available at UO right now!)

Continuing on with other news!
A few things I am particularlyy looking forward to:

Jason Wu for TARGET!

This last one, I just may have to go nutty and wait for in store.
Do you hear me ladies??
Target is doing a finee job bringing in the goods from top designers.
February 5th is the date of arrival! Mark your calendars, I'll race you !

Secondly, Madewelll is coming to Scottsdale Fashion Square this spring!

I admit, I am just now becoming familar with this company, but so far,
I loveeeeeeee it.
Will definitely be stopping in for the opening.

And lastly!
Even though on this here blog the aim is to share sweet deals by thrifting,
I just couldn't help but look to Louis Vuitton spring looks for some inspiration.

Oh, Spring! Oh, so pretty!

Merry Mondays! New year, new things!

Sure, its late January already but who's keeping track really?

Sooo, one of my many goals for this year includes rebooting this ol' thing!
A brand new post, wait for it, EVERY DAY!

And on this Merry Monday of ours, I'm going to just begin with a brief recap of this weekend's success.

Oil cat paintings, for under three bucks a piece!

I'm slightly obsesssed with tins and boxes. This little beauty was $2 !

Perfect little red flats by 9West. Fantastic condition, only $5.

Supreme finds, all found at a Savers.
I've got a few projects up my sleeves, so stay tuned!

hats, shoes and fringe !

SALES SALES SALES!
one of the many thrills of shopping, and the reason pour le blog!

For those wallets like mine, that only wish to be able to afford places like UrbanOutfitters and Anthropologie at regular prices, we thrive at the sales.

And boy oh boy, did we do good this round.

Red turban: wait for it... $ 4.95!!! Five bucks, I pay more for food.

Wooden sandal: $19.99 Less than half of the original price.
Sweet sweet savings.

And lastly, a quick DIY that my friend Rachel and I did :

Leopard shirt via Goodwill, $ 4.95
A pair of scissors later, and voila,
FRINGE CITY!

DIY

So I have these leopard baby pumps via F21,
but as most shoes via F21, they are so uncomfortable.
You definitely get what you pay for.
But a girls just got to get her leopard shoe on, so no pain, no gain.

Sooo in hopes of finding a remedy for my beloved shoes, trying to extend their wear for more than ten minutes, I seek out electrical tape.

Now, apply to shoe andddd!

You've got a bit of blister protection!
Just applied about an inch to the outer leopard side and then draped it inside until I hit the bottom.
I admit this technique is not for all shoes due to many styles,
but it works brilliantly for my leopard lovers.

Voila! DIY blister solutions. Because you know we won't give up the shoe.
